Ordering StarShips
Selecting StarShip(s)
- Select a StarShip by clicking on it on the
map.
- Select multiple
StarShips by dragging a rectangle around them and then releasing
the mouse button.
- Selected StarShip(s)
appear enclosed in a blue rectangle.
Move/Target
- After you select one or more
StarShips you are automatically placed into
Move/Target mode.
- When you are in
Move/Target mode:
- Click on a space on the map to order the
StarShip(s) to
Move there.
- Click on a StarSystem or StarShip to order
the StarShip(s) to
Target it (if they can).
- Exit Move/Target
mode by:
- Clicking the red Exit button.
- Pressing the "escape" key.
Defend
- Some StarShips
can be given the Defend order.
- Click the Defend
button to set up the order.
- Then, click on a space or object on the map.
- The StarShip(s)
will defend that spot or object and attack enemy
StarShips that come near it.

Escort
- Click the Escort
button to set up an Escort order.
- Then, click on a
StarShip to escort.
- The StarShip(s)
will retain their relative position(s) to the
StarShip selected to escort.
(Escorting StarShips follow a SpyShip)
Patrol
- Click the Patrol
button to set up a Patrol order.
- Then, click a series of points on the map
that define the desired patrol route.
- Click the green
Complete Order button when finished.
- The StarShip(s)
will patrol along the route you defined.
(Patrolling in Close Orbit around the Capital)
Special Orders
- Some StarShip
types can be given special orders.
- For example, a
MadBomb can be ordered to Detonate.
- When you select such a
StarShip, you will see its special order
button appear along with the standard order buttons.
- Click the special order button for
information about how to issue the order during a game.
